This mouthwatering tacos are reedy in les than 30 minutes. The Combination of tequila , lime and traditional Mexican spices is making this taco seriously delicious. You don’t need to travel to Baja California to get this super tasty street food that is all time favorite to all. This recipe is super healthy and easy to make for a family dinner or a big crowd. You can always to change ingredients of your choice and make it to your personal taste. That’ s way I love to make this tacos, they are fun and delicious to make. Never hurts to add a Margarita and extra hot sauce to the mix.
I like to marinate the shrimp for 10-15 minutes. If you marinate them for longer they become very tough to eat after you cook them and specially using any kind of acidity like lime or lemon juice.
I like to add a little splash of tequila to make everything even better. Add some chili flakes and garlic and you have a winner. I also like to twist it up a little with making a tasty and healthy yogurt- lime and garlic sauce instead the ever boring sour cream.

Instructions:
When I make my tacos I like to start with a quick marinated on the shrimp. Its very important to not over marinated them, otherwise they will be very tough. In a large bowl add the peel and devein shrimp and add the tequila, zest of one of the limes. lime juice of t 2 limes, onion and garlic powder, chili powder. salt and white pepper and a few tbsp. olive oil. Mix gently everything and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
In a mean time make the yogurt sauce, starting with combining the yogurt, lime juice, fresh chopped dill, fresh minced garlic and salt. mix everything together. you can to make the sauce way in advance if you want. I like to make it the night before, that way is more flavorful.
This Mango Salsa Fresca is a typical Mexican dish that is perfect to top of on Tacos, Burritos, Enchiladas, Fajitas and many more Mexican dishes. What i like about this one recipe is that you always can make it in advance and put your personal spin on it. The one I am sharing with you with mango is my top favorite.
In a medium size bowl add the chopped tomatoes, onions, mango and the jalapeno. I like to cut them into small cubes, all the vegetables need to be the same size so they can marinate evenly. Add into the bowl the salt, lime juice, olive oil and chopped cilantro, salt and pepper to taste and mix together. Let it sit for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
After you make all the sides for the taco is time to prepare the shrimps. They get cooked very fast so I always get my sides done first before I move to preparing the protein of your choice.
In a large sauté skillet add the olive oil and heat it up on medium high temperature. Add the shrimp, but make sure you don’t crowd the pan otherwise you will end up with not crispy and well cooked shrimp. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, cooked on each side for about 2-3 minutes and then flipped on the other side. Make sure you don’t over cooked them, otherwise the shrimp will be tough. One of the ways to find that the shrimp is cook perfectly is when they start reaching the “C” shape and the color is nice pink not translucent.
After the shrimp is done transfer it on a platter. Grill the tortilla on open flame for few second on each side. Add the desired condiments and then add on top the shrimp. Drizzle some of the healthy yogurt sauce and squeeze some lime on top. Get you Margarita and Enjoy!
Salute:)
