Hello to yummy and healthy salad. Not all salad need to be boring and not tasteful. Just because we want to stay healthy, doesn’t mean that we should eat greens that not taste good. This is so delicious and flavorful salad with light yogurt dressing. When I go out I always try to order salad . Not all time they are super tasty, and I understand why people stay away from salads. But I promise you that you will love that one. For this recipe I use only few ingredients, but you can add corn and peanuts if you like. They go very well with this recipe. And just because I like it i also add some of the Everything Bagel Seasoning, don’t judge I love bagels.
After trying this recipe boring salad should never be on your list. And with my creamy healthy yogurt dressing recipe I guarantee you that you will never go back to heavy mayo dressings. I know that you probably hear that they are not tasty and bland, so not true. Try it and you will see for yourself. I also love to add into the dressing a little bit of tahini ,

I love to use larger shrimp or prawns, they don’t get dry when you grill them. For the healthy yougurt dressing I like to use Bulgarian yougurt-the real thing, not a creamy version, just real yougurt. If you cant find it in the stores I like to use Abali- this is a nice substitute to the Bulgarian Yogurt. It contains all bacteria that you need and is really tasty, with a little sourness on the end.
So here is my take on this wonderful delicious salad.
|Shrimp (Uncooked)||1 pound|
|Mix Greens||3 cups|
|Kalamata Olives||1/4 cup|
|Everything Bagel Seasoning||a pinch|
|Granulated Garlic||1/2 tbsp.|
|White Pepper||1/2 tbsp.|
|Onion Powder||1/2 tsp.|
For the Yogurt Dressing
|Lemon Juice||2 -3 Tbsp.|
|White Wine Vinegar||1 tsp.|
|Olive Oil||1/4 cup|
|Fresh Dill||2 Tbsp.|
|Black Pepper||1/2 tsp|
|Sugar||1/2- 1 tsp.|
Start with making the Yogurt dressings, the longer it seats the better flavor develop. Get all ingredients and put it in a blender and blended for a few seconds until you reach creamy sauce. Taste and see if you need to adjust the seasoning to your taste.
Next step is to season the shrimp. Put them in the bowl and drizzle a little bit olive oil and add the seasoning( Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Onion Powder, Granulated Garlic0 and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes. Get the grill or your Ninja Foodi, If you use the Ninja Foodi follow the instructions for grilling. If you use your outside grill, cook the shrimp 2 -3 minutes on each side. When done put it in a plate and set aside.
In a large bowl add the mix greens, Kalamata olives, sliced hard boil egg, slices of avocado and sprinkle Everything Bagel seasoning. Drizzle the creamy healthy and delicious yogurt dressing.
